level 24 city tower

client: bruntwood estates

City Tower is a typical 60s office block with its central core and services forming the spine of the building. Being bruntwood’s headquarters, the brief called for good spatial planning, timeless interior architecture and view of the city.

The linearity of the building is expressed by an incision of a linear ‘storage’ wall parallel to the length of the building which allows for various functions and m&e ductwork runs at high level. Installation of planar glazed walls to meeting rooms not only allows city and activity views but more importantly it diminishes the psychological and visual impact of the common narrow corridor.
