manchester international festival pavilion
client: manchester international festival
As part of the MIF commitment to delivering new and original work, Roger Stephenson Architects were commissioned to design the pavilion which will be at the epicentre of the festival itself.
Being the heart and soul of the festival, the pavilion was designed to showcase a range of live music, drinks, food, documentary and film footages and more importantly a place for the public and artists to gather.
The 21m tall and 21m diameter tensile structure is demountable and reusable for future festivals.
